THE EVENT
The Send gathering on 23 November, will be a powerful time of prayer and worship with key catalytic messages, testimonies and videos interspersed throughout the day. The heart of the Great Commission will be on display and practical information and next steps will be offered through specific calls to action. We want every person who comes to feel like they can personally engage in a new way with the work of the gospel. When you come to The Send, come ready to be activated!
Our only response to a nation in desperate need of Jesus is to unify and take bold missional action.

The event runs for a full 10 hours, without the structured breaks you’d find at a typical conference, offering complete flexibility—come and go from the main arena whenever it suits you! With food trucks on-site, you’ll have plenty of options for meals and snacks to keep you energized.
Throughout the day, we’ll explore various mission fields, both local and global. There will be powerful calls to action, giving you opportunities to connect with partner organizations ready to equip and support you.
This is your moment to step up and play a role in the Great Commission. Whether you’re called to serve in New Zealand or overseas, you’ll leave inspired and ready to go into missions!

Will there be tickets available to purchase on the day?
If we haven’t SOLD OUT by the event, yes. We would recommend registering now to avoid missing out.
Will there be food available?
YES! There will be food available to purchase at the event! Alternatively, you can pack some food and bring it with you!
Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?
Children 3 and under are free. Children 4 and over need a general admission ticket.
Will there be childcare available?
There is no childcare at The Send NZ, but there will be a Parents area where there will be a live-feed of the event.
What time does the event start and end?
Gates open at 8am, but the event starts at 10am and finishes at 8pm.
Where is the closest airport?
Hamilton Airport is the closest airport with only a 2min drive to Mystery Creek. Alternatively you can fly into Auckland Airport which is a 1hour 30min drive to Mystery Creek.
At both airports you can hire a car for transportation.
Why is the day 10 hours?
Our goal as The Send is transformation over information. From our experience a concentrated experience of unified worship, prayer, messaging and response creates that atmosphere for personal transformation. Each hour is necessary and built with intention to catalyze every person to be sent with understanding and passion into the Great Commission.
Are there group discounts?
Yes there is! For groups 10+. Just select the number of tickets you’d like and then on the checkout screen click the “Apply” button next to the “Group 10+” block to receive 20% off your tickets!.
Where should I stay?
On-site camping is not available, but we recommend the following camping/accommodation options, or you can choose to stay at one of the hotels listed below:
- Narrows park
Located 7-minute drive from Mystery Creek. Narrow Park offers camping and caravan availability for up to 400 people. Matamata is a rural town in New Zealand, famous for the Hobbiton movie set and its scenic, pastoral landscapes. The YWAM base in Matama can host up to 80 people. Contact their office for more information. - Karakariki Christian Camp
Karakariki Camp finds itself, 30 minutes away from Mystery Creek. It can host a great number of people. Contact their office on how to lock in your stay today. - CYC Ngāruawāhia
CYC is located in the quaint town of Ngāruawāhia, only 30 minutes from Mystery Creek. A minimum booking of 7 people is preferable to be in a group from a church or a youth group. Campers have to check out by the morning of the 24th of November. Contact their office to book today. - Totora Springs
Located in Matamata. Totora Spingins is located 50 minutes away from Mystery Creek. Has a capacity for 80 people but only for group booking. Contact their offices for more information. - Finlay park

Located across the road from Mystery Creek Events Centre, Mystery Creek Motel in Hamilton has every facility you desire, and within 20 minutes of Hamilton’s airport, Gardens and Waikato Stadium. - Accommodation in Cambridge
Cambridge is a quiet and beautiful town memorable for its leafy streets, heritage buildings, antique shops and delicious food. There is a range of accommodation options depending on what you are looking for with a 15-20 minute drive to Mystery Creek. - Accommodation in Hamilton
Hamilton is nestled on the banks of the mighty Waikato River and is known for its walks, gardens, cafes and events. There is a range of accommodation options depending on what you are looking for with a 20-25 minute drive to Mystery Creek.

How does the seating work? Can we reserve a spot for a big group?
Unfortunately we won’t be providing allocated seating. We suggest getting there as early as possible to secure preferred seating.
How can i participate during the event?
There will be an opportunity to respond to your missional call during the event, so we encourage you to make sure that you have your phone charged! You are welcome to bring a portable charger with you or else we will have a limited amount of charging stations.
